Westboro Village has a strong presence of women-led businesses in our BIA.

In fact, 39% of the businesses in Westboro Village have women leading them, which is more than double the national average of 17.5%. Nationally, women-owned businesses are more prevalent in-service industries, such as health care and social assistance; professional, scientific, and technical services; and retail trade.

From small-medium enterprises to nation wide businesses all these women leaders bring a different perspective to our main street and neighbourhood. From their commitment and involvement, they are more than business leaders; these ladies are community leaders.
