Dr. Kelly Norman, Chiropractor and Director of Back in Balance, a centre for wellbeing, wants to offer healthcare support not only for symptom relief, but preventatively too. Dr. Norman is a mom of two and has always loved Westboro. She saw it as a vibrant and fun place to grow and provide a future for the clinic while providing the highest level of care (she especially loves prenatal care and healthy outcomes for postpartum women).
Originally the clinic was in a different location before outgrowing it and now, having been in the Village since 2005, Dr. Norman says that it’s hard to imagine a home beyond Westboro.
“The presence of so many small businesses in Westboro is a big draw to the area for me. Owners have had to adapt quickly to a changing climate over these past few years. It has been fantastic to be part of a strong community of people dedicated to keeping their businesses on track. We often share our challenges and discuss new ideas. This camaraderie is invaluable.” She says. “Westboro has been such a wonderful location for our clinic and I am grateful to be part of this vibrant business community.”
Valuing Patients, and the Team
She credits her team of gifted healers with much of their success and organic growth over the past couple of decades. All the practitioners bring various skill sets and adds that she would trust her own family members with them. She also ensures to highlight the administrative staff too.
“We truly care about our patients and our community. Our support staff and practitioners really are wonderful humans. I hear feedback from patients on a daily basis that they can feel that they are in good hands when they enter our clinic because everybody is so welcoming and caring.” Dr. Norman shares.

We do not invest much money in marketing and the vast majority of our business comes from word of mouth. The residents of Westboro are such warm and friendly people and it has been a pleasure to serve them for so many years.”
