Flowers for Food – A fundraiser for the Westboro Region Food Bank
The Westboro Community Association and Samurai Ikebana Studio are excited to present “Flowers for Food,”—a unique fundraising experience in support of the Westboro Region Food Bank. See a fabulous exhibit of ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging. PLUS you are invited to make your own bouquet to take home, attend a free flower arranging demo and try your luck at winning some handmade pottery. Oh and don’t miss the chance to meet our very own Samurai Flower Warrier Isamu-san! Isamu is a complete set of vintage samurai armour and he welcomes selfies! Kids welcome! Venue fully accessible Suggested goodwill donation of $20 goes to the food bank. Let’s fight food insecurity, one flower at a time!
