Whispers Pub may have closed its doors in 2022, but it’s still bringing the community together.
Local company, Y Street Capital, is looking forward to beginning their new development project at the corner of Richmond Road and Tweedsmuir Ave, which includes the site of Whispers Pub. They know this was a hotspot for regulars looking to unwind and connect with friends and are excited to bring the community together once more to benefit one of their neighbours – the Westboro Region Food Bank.
Y Street Capital purchased not just the building, but Whispers Pub itself! They will be preserving pieces of the pub and memorabilia including the iconic neon sign but realized there was much more memorabilia than they could use in a new space.

It has all been donated to the Westboro Region Food Bank so they can host a fundraising auction on September 20th, 2025. Locals will be able to take home a piece of Whispers, while giving back to their community. Come back to our website or contact the Westboro Region Food Bank for more details.
