Provincial Shutdown

The businesses of Westboro Village are so thankful for the incredible support that they have received through 2020, during a year that has been the most challenging for many of our main street retailers. Their focus has been on the health and safety of their customers, staff and themselves. We are incredibly proud of them and the measures that they have taken. Throughout 2020, each business has worked hard to adapt, to support their staff and stay safe. This has been emotionally and financially taxing, but they are committed to their businesses and your safety.

As we begin 2021, it will continue to be challenging for main street retailers. The businesses of Westboro Village have adapted to all government measures and will continue to throughout this next stage. Our businesses have chosen to open in a traditional main street neighborhood, to be close to customers and support the neighbouring community.

Many of our businesses are considered essential and able to remain open throughout the lockdown. Others will be open for curbside pick-up, and many of restaurants have fantastic options for take-out. Most are using their social media to share what they are doing, and we encourage you to share your favourites on social media.

We have all been amazed by and are thankful for the commitment of all health care workers and front-line staff. We encourage everyone to be safe to help keep them and our community safe.
